
A student-focused social for extended play with others in the local Mahjong community. Designed for players who have recently completed Mahjong 101 and/or 102 and want more real-game experience in a supportive setting. This event is open to anyone in the community who has taken a Mahjong 101 class or recently learned to play American Mahjong, whether through Kitsap Mahjong or elsewhere. Practice in a relaxed, low-pressure environment with instructor support available as needed. This session emphasizes skill development, confidence at the table, and learning through play. Current NMJL Card REQUIRED. What to Expect: Real games with light coaching, reminders, and strategy guidance Short, focused skill-building segments, that can include: Card reading and hand selection Charleston practice & strategy Defense and Joker strategy Table flow and decision-making Opportunities to ask questions and refine gameplay in real time Who It’s For: Players who have completed Mahjong 101 and/or 102 and are looking for more structured practice and table time. Community Focus: Connect, network, and socialize with fellow students while building your skills in a welcoming environment. Important: This is a non-gambling, instructional event.
